As a child, I always had a fascination with old china, buying pieces with my saved up pocket money.

In my late teens I started having  a stall at local antique fairs and here began my collection of Art Deco ceramics. I think the fascination for me was the bright colours and fantastic shapes.

After university I decided that I wanted to do a job which I enjoyed. I opened Mainly Deco in 1997 with items that were from my own collection that I could bare to let go!

In 2005 I married Jon and we are expecting our first baby which is due in June 2007. I am therefore taking maternity leave from the middle of May which means Mainly Deco will now be run slightly differently during my absence.

I am in the process of turning the business into more website based but will still have a few items for sale via the shop window, details of these can be found in my STOCK pages. Purchasing is purely by cheque or cash on collection - Debit & Credit card facilities will be up and running as soon as possible.
